Wyze Bulb Color went to Mardi Gras, and thought it was drab. It yawned at the Holi Festival in India. It fell asleep at the fireworks show on the 4th of July. Wyze Bulb Color is an insufferable snob, but it's tough to get excited when you're the greatest 16 million color smart bulb on earth. It has a dimmable option, yes, but takes personal offense if you use it.
Switched from a basic white bulb to this one and the difference is night and day—the colors are so vivid and punchy. I set up a subtle purple glow for movie nights and it really sets the mood without being distracting. Definitely worth the upgrade for anyone wanting to liven up a room.
Setup the color cycling scene on my phone in about a minute, and now my living room looks like a mini rave without the headache. The preset party modes are surprisingly fun — the Mardi Gras colors really pop, and it’s got that snobby attitude I actually appreciate for a smart bulb.
I’ve been using this bulb for a few weeks now, and the color range is genuinely impressive—it can mimic a sunset or a deep midnight blue with zero flicker. The brightness even at full saturation is stronger than I expected from an LED.
